Working Definition of "Follow Up" - Through assessing the soil of a person’s heart through prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, the pursuit of another for their spiritual

good and God’s glory. (Shorter Definition: Pursuing people).

1. Pray for them

3. The work is fervent prayer
2. Pray for guidance of the Holy Spirit
1. “Oh Lord, if I am going to live as sent, who are you sending me to?”
2. “Which one are you sending me to?" (person A, B,  or C).
3. “How and when Lord?” A calendar, spiritual, marital question.
3. Prepare a question
1. Think about the conversation ahead of time
2. Requires that you remember what people say.
3. This is for the Christian, not just the pastor.
4. Prepare a verse
1. Pray and think about it ahead of time
2. “Hey, could I share a verse with you”
5. Pray for them in person
1. Ask if it is ok to pray for them
2. If appropriate, ask if you could put your hand
3. Don’t be weird with your words. Be simple and short.Tell the Lord what is on your heart.
